School Choir 1964

The school choir under Mr Morgan once sang  "The passion of Christ"! An oratorio by Arthur Somervell it took an hour and a quarter to sing it in St Dunstans Church with guest soprano (there were only boys in 1964!)  and bass soloists from Cambridge. The whole thing was recorded onto a 12 inch long playing vinyl album of which a limited amount were pressed. I have long since lost my copy when my parents moved and didn't keep it. And I have never heard it performed since. I am forlornly hoping some less careless OC still has a copy which they might be able to make a digital copy of and send to me. Here's hoping.
