We’re delighted to share that Michael Warren, former English teacher at Cranbrook School, has written a wonderful new book titled The Cuckoo’s Lea.

This captivating work has already received high praise, including a glowing review in The Guardian, which described it as “a magical ornithological history of Britain.” You can read their review here.

Whether you were taught by Michael, have an interest in ornithology, or are simply looking for a beautifully written read, this book is well worth your time. Even more excitingly, Michael will be joining fellow author and bird expert Alex Preston for a special conversation at the Cranbrook Literature Festival on Saturday 12th October. Congratulations on a brilliant book.
