In a nostalgic and heartwarming gathering, OCs from the Class of 1994 came together to celebrate their 30-year reunion. The event, held on Saturday, 8th June 2024, at The Starman on Heddon Street, was filled with laughter, memories and the joy of reconnecting with old friends.

The evening was organised by Charlie Thompson, Christina Graham (née Vizarelis) and Patrick Addis, who ensured the reunion was a memorable occasion for everyone. Reflecting on the success of the event, Charlie expressed his heartfelt sentiments:

“This may sound a bit cheesy, but I’m going to say it anyway. Reflecting on last night and everything in the build-up to it, I can safely say for those who were there, weren’t sure whether to come or not, or simply weren’t able to, there was no judgement, no agenda, just love and laughter. We all have our own memories and experiences of school, some sadly not as positive as others, but despite and perhaps because of that, we’ve all grown up in different ways and places. But I, for one, will only ever think of last night as entirely positive, where the time flew by without realising, and we all left smiling and wanting to do it all again soon! Five years’ time in Cranbrook, anyone?”

The reunion saw a fantastic turnout, with attendees sharing their gratitude and joy throughout the evening. Saskia Courtenay captured the spirit of the night, saying,

“Guys, it was such a fun evening - I didn’t take a single photo (pretty standard for me) but felt I spoke to everyone, so that was a win. 2:30 am home time and a pretty sore head = definitely signs of a great night! Thank you, Patrick, Christina and Charlie, for making it all happen. Sending love to everyone.”

Rebecca Routledge (née Mehrabian) added,

“Many thanks to Charlie, Christina and Patrick for organising a fabulous evening! It was absolutely wonderful to get together and see everyone.”

The evening was indeed a trip down memory lane, with Melissa Clegg (née Dare) reflecting,

“A totally awesome evening. Amazing to see everyone. Thanks so much for organising it. On the train on my way home, feeling very happy reminiscing to myself.”

Lucy Miller (née Reedman) summed up the emotional resonance of the reunion, saying,

“It’s exactly that, Melissa. Can’t quite put into words how incredible last night was. So comforting to be surrounded by old friends who all shared that common start in life. Feeling quite emotional. Thank you so much, Charlie, Patrick and Christina.”

The Class of 1994 reunion was not just an event but a reaffirmation of lifelong friendships and shared histories. As the night drew to a close, one thing was clear: the bonds formed three decades ago remain as strong as ever, leaving everyone with fond memories of the past and a nostalgic longing for the next gathering.
