O.C Golfers returned to the Weald of Kent G.C. for the 31 st O.C.A. Golf Day.

34 players enjoyed playing a course in excellent condition with the aim of winning the Donald Robathan Trophy.

Jeremy Philpot, John Taylor and Mike Jakob were attending for the 22 nd, 21 st and 19 th time respectively while Ben Clifford, Dan Jones, Josh Pettet and Gareth Sheppard were making their first appearance.

After coffee and bacon rolls the Individual Stableford Competition was played over 18 testing holes with Nearest the Pin and Longest Drive competitions also being available to the Men and Ladies.

15 players scored 30 stableford points or more, but the top three were:

  • Nick Burdge (37 points)
  • Tim Jakob (36 points)
  • Josh Pettet (35 points)

Ali Kittermaster had the highest Ladies’ score (32 points)

After lunch the Headmaster, David Clark, kindly presented prizes to all these O.C.s and others.

Next year’s O.C.A. Golf Day will be held at the same venue on Monday, 6th July, 2026.
