It is with a heavy heart that Cranbrook School announces the passing of one of our esteemed OCs, Stuart Adrian Organ (Crowden 1963-70). Stuart, a cherished member of the Cranbrook School community and a renowned British actor, is best known for his beloved role as teacher Peter Robson in the television series Grange Hill.

Stuart's passion for the arts was evident from his early days here at Cranbrook, where his exceptional talent for acting first emerged. His contributions to drama and performing arts during his time at our school left a lasting impression.

After leaving Cranbrook, Stuart embarked on a successful acting career, touching the lives of many with his compelling performances. His portrayal of Mr. Robson in "Grange Hill" not only brought joy and entertainment to viewers but also served as an inspiration to aspiring actors and educators. Stuart's dedication to his craft and his ability to bring characters to life with authenticity and depth made him a respected figure in the world of television and theater.

Beyond the screen, Stuart was known for his warmth, kindness and commitment to supporting the arts. The news of Stuart's passing is a great loss to all who knew him and admired his work. We extend our deepest condolences to Stuart's family, friends and colleagues during this difficult time.

He will be deeply missed but his legacy will continue to inspire future generations of Cranbrookians.
