OC Spotlight |
We were recently joined by former student Issy Wynn-Carter who is in her final year of her degree at the London College of Fashion. It is with great pride that we inform you that she returned to our school after completing her studies here at Cranbrook School, where she pursued her passion for Art.
Issy graciously accepted our invitation to give a guest lecture to both the upper and lower 6th form students. Her lecture encompassed her own experiences and first-hand knowledge of life at university, particularly the university application process. Issy shared invaluable insights, tips, and guidance that will undoubtedly benefit our students as they embark on their own journeys towards higher education especially the highly competitive fashion industry.
It is worth highlighting that Issy is one of just thirty pupils chosen to be a part of a highly competitive course at the esteemed London College of Fashion. Entry onto this course is considered a great achievement, as over a thousand candidates vie for the limited spots each year. Issy's accomplishments are a testament to her skill, dedication, and hard work.
We extend our heartfelt appreciation to Issy for taking the time and effort to share her experiences with our younger pupils. By imparting her knowledge and providing a glimpse into the rigorous yet rewarding world of university life, Issy has undoubtedly inspired and motivated our students. Her presence and insights have left an indelible mark on their minds. If any teachers or students are interested in hearing more about Issy's experience or have any follow-up questions, please do not hesitate to instagram @issywcarter.
