Remembrance & Tributes |
Twenty years ago, Old Cranbrookian Dave Betts took his own life. Dave was a much-loved son to Ian and Norma, brother to Claire and Gayle, and friend to everyone he met at Cranbrook. On July 26th this year, two of his great friends will cycle across Britain in his memory. In doing so they will raise money for the Sam West Foundation, founded in memory of another ex-Cranbrook pupil who took his own life, that will fund Place2Be mental health support in local primary schools. Will Chuter and Tom Beney will ride the 1,000 mile route from Land’s End to John o’ Groats in nine days with the help of friends and family. Will and Tom would be thrilled if you were able to sponsor them, follow them on Instagram and share with others.
